From the founder

Built From the Dirt Up.

I was doing roofing when I got the idea for Reckin.

Six to eight energy drinks a day. That's what it took to get through the work, and I knew exactly what it was doing to me. But standing at the gas station cooler at five in the morning, not one can on that shelf was made for me. They were made for gyms. For extreme sports. For guys posting about the grind instead of living in it.

Nobody was making anything for the man on the roof. Or the farmer. Or the rancher. The people who build everything around them were an afterthought in a category they were carrying.

So I spent a year and a half building the one nobody else would.

I'm not going anywhere and I'm not selling this. Reckin gets built the same way the work gets done — early, honest, and all the way through.

The road here

Five Chapters, One Brand

No garage-to-unicorn fairy tale. A roof, a problem nobody was solving, and a year and a half of refusing to let it go.

Chapter I

The Roof

Six to eight energy drinks a day just to keep moving. I knew they weren't good for me. I drank them anyway, because that's what the gas station sold and the work didn't care how I felt about it.

I
Chapter II

The Gap

Every brand was chasing the same crowd — gyms, extreme sports, the same recycled inspirational messaging. The men doing the hardest work in this country weren't in a single one of those ads. If nobody was going to make it for them, I would.

II
Chapter III

The Formula

A year and a half of formulating and research. More than 50 rounds of taste testing before we had something I'd put my name on. It had to taste good enough that you'd reach for it — not just look good on the back of the can.

III
Chapter IV

The Name

A few names came and went before Reckin Energy stuck. When we finally landed on it, everything else clicked into place — who it was for, what it stood for, all of it.

Chapter V

Made in Texas

There was never a version of this made in another state. Texas isn't a sticker on the can — it's the bar. Anything with Texas on it ought to be the best thing on the shelf, and that's the standard we held ourselves to.

Energy that works as hard as you do.

What we stand for

The Brand, Nailed Down

I.

The Hard Worker Is the Hero

Not an influencer. Not a gym bro. Not an extreme sports edit. A man working hard to provide for his family. Every brand in this category picked somebody else to build around. We picked you.

II.

Texas or Nothing

Texas isn't a marketing line for us — it's the bar. Anything with Texas on it ought to be the best thing on the shelf. Reckin is made here, and it stays here.

III.

Real People, Not Automation

We're not running this like corporate America. Fewer bots and phone trees, more actual people who pick up. Real people and real results — that's the whole operating system.

IV.

Led by Faith

I don't separate what I believe from how I run this. It shapes how we treat customers, how we treat each other, and what we do when nobody's watching.

V.

Not For Sale

Most brands get built to be sold. This one wasn't. I don't plan on ever selling Reckin — I'm building it, and I'm staying.

Grit Recognizes Grit

Why rodeo rides with usGrit Recognizes Grit

I never rode bulls or bucking horses. But I was inspired by those who did.

But I've watched men climb down into a chute knowing exactly what's about to happen to them, and do it anyway. Eight seconds. There's no negotiating with a bull — you finish or you don't, and nobody cares how you felt about it.

That's the same standard as a roof in August. Same standard as a full day in the field. It's why rodeo athletes ride with Reckin — not because we bought a logo spot, but because we recognize each other on sight.

Brody Cress has qualified for the NFR nine times. That's not a sponsorship. That's a standard we share.

See What They're Drinking

Where this is headed

Every Truck Stop Cooler. Every Feed Store. Every Crew Truck in America.

We're not trying to out-shout the giants. We're building the one brand hard workers actually call theirs — and growing it big enough to put real money back into their lives. This was never just a drink. It's a movement, and the hard worker is finally the hero of it.

Ride With Us

That's the story. The rest of it gets built one can, one crew, one jobsite at a time.
